Since the end of last year’s Montreal meeting, the 2012 Scientific Program Committee for the CUA has been busy putting together a program that promises to deliver the latest advances in Urology. Through keynote presentations, plenary sessions and interactive educational forums, the scientific sessions will highlight original urological research.
The 67th Annual Meeting of the CUA, in beautiful Banff, Alberta, will deliver an outstanding Scientific Program which will appeal to both academic and community Canadian urologists. Invited speakers will include: Dr. Mark Moyad from co-director of the Men’s Health Program at the University of Michigan discussing use of supplementation in mens health; Dr. Victor Nitti vice-chairman of urology from New York University reviewing the recent FDA panel on the use of mesh; Dr. Kevin McVary from Northwestern University presenting on erectile dysfunction and BPH; Dr. Mark Schoenberg from Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes discussing new options for conduits; Dr. Gerald Jordan from Eastern Virginia reviewing male urethral disease; Dr. Manoj Monga from the Cleveland Clinic presenting in conjunction with the Canadian Endourology Society; Dr. Richard Satava from the University of Washington presenting on the future of robotic surgery. The committee is working hard to confirm more speakers for paediatric urology and testicular cancer.
